Hi there! I'm excited to be with you today issuing the weekly challenge! It is very common for me to scrapbook just one or two photos on a layout. I like how it let's you really focus on the one or two pictures and I also like that it leaves me quite a bit of creative room for artistic play as well. BUT, it is definitely good to shake things up every now and then, so today I am challenging you to create a layout with 5 or more photos.
You'll likely want to print your photos at a smaller size than 4x6 so that you can fit them all. I find that the wallet size option is a great way to accomplish this. And in fact, when I do have multiple photos from an event or moment that I want to scrapbook, I will go ahead and print them in the wallet size so they are ready to go! Another option is to size them down on your computer and then place them all on one canvas in photoshop to print all at once.
(supplies : patterned paper : Classic Calico Numerical, Take Note Pink Pearl, Noteworthy, Think Tank Rolodex ; Stickers : Take Note Tiny Alpha, Abroad Aqua Tiny Alpha, Take Note Butterfly Stickers ; Veneer : Wood Veneer People ; Thickers : Anywhere Thickers ; Other : ribbon, paint, brads, cardstock, buttons)
The backside of the Numerical paper in the new Classic Calico Vol 2 collection is perfect for scrapping lots of photos! I used an exacto knife to cut out some of the little polaroid frame openings and then placed my photos behind the windows! I love when a patterned paper inspires the design of my layout because it makes the completed project come together really effortlessly!
Now it's your turn to create a page with five or more photos link it up here by June 11th for a chance to win a $5 gift card to the Studio Calico Shop!
